Bergenstein Guitars was born from an idea Benjamin had to build an acoustic guitar for his father's birthday as a memorable gift. Benjamin grew up in a house  with artists and musicians, where both of his parents played the guitar. Naturally, Benjamin also gravitated to the guitar from an early age. 

The amount of knowledge, tools, and effort required to build a quality acoustic guitar was more than Benjamin initially thought it would be, which during the initial build process quickly became a passion for Benjamin.

...And so, Bergenstein Guitars was born! A grass roots, home grown shop producing handcrafted acoustic guitars for musicians that seek a little more tone and feel out of their guitars compared to a mass produced, generalized acoustic guitar.
